Project Dragonfire - Mobile FPS UI
By and large, mobile shooters are bad. That is exciting. There is so much room for design exploration, creativity, and real User Experience work. Simultaneously having to design the UI and a controller was an enticing puzzle I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into. I started from scratch, starting with diving deep into research on human-machine interfacing and human heuristics. The realization that phone is not the controller, your thumbs are was mind blowing to me.
